Invoices and receipts
Updated 16 September 2026
Every payment has a PDF invoice under Account → Billing; for a company name or VAT number on it, open "Manage billing" and edit your billing details.
Every payment you've made is listed under Account → Billing in the Invoices section, newest first, with a PDF link next to each one. An invoice marked Paid is your receipt and proof of payment. To have a company name, address or VAT number printed on future invoices, choose Manage billing and change your billing details there.

Download an invoice
- Sign in and open Account, then Billing.
- Scroll to Invoices. Each row shows the date, the invoice number, the amount and its status: Paid, Unpaid or Cancelled.
- Choose PDF on the row you need. The file opens from Stripe, our payment provider, and you can save or print it from there.
The list shows your most recent 24 invoices. If you've been a member longer than that, older ones are available through Manage billing.
If the section says "We couldn't load your invoices just now", Stripe didn't answer in time. Wait a minute and reload, or open Manage billing, where the same invoices are listed.
Put a company name or VAT number on your invoices
Invoices carry the billing details Stripe holds for you, which at first is just the name and email you paid with.
- On the Billing page choose Manage billing. This opens the Stripe billing portal in Stripe's own design; it's the same place you update your card or cancel.
- Find your billing information and choose the option to update it. Add the company name, address and tax or VAT number you want printed.
- Save. Stripe brings you back to your account Overview when you're done.
The change applies to invoices issued from then on. Invoices that already exist aren't regenerated, because Stripe locks an invoice once it's been finalised. If you need a company name on a payment you've already made, write to us with "Billing" selected, tell us the invoice date and the details to add, and we'll see what can be done.
If the portal doesn't offer a way to edit your details, write to us with the same information and a person will add it for you.
What's on the invoice
Each invoice shows the plan (Monthly or Annual), the amount in US dollars, any tax that applied at checkout for where you live, the invoice number and the date. Prices are the ones on Plans and prices; if an invoice shows something different, write to us and we'll check it.
A refund doesn't create a new invoice. After a first-payment refund the original row stays in your list with its PDF, so you keep a record of the payment, and the refund itself shows on your card statement.
