Seeing and signing out other devices
Updated 16 September 2026
Settings → Sessions lists the browsers that used your account in the last 30 days; choose "Sign out this browser" next to any you don't recognise.
Open Settings, scroll to Recent browser sessions and you'll see every browser that used your account on this website in the last 30 days. Next to any you don't recognise, choose Sign out this browser. That browser is signed out the next time it loads a page here, and it can't get back in without your password or your Google account.

Read the list
Each row shows two things:
- Which browser. The one you're reading from is labelled This browser. Any other row shows the browser's own description, the long string a browser sends with every request, so "Chrome" and "Android" or "Safari" and "iPhone" are usually enough to recognise your own phone or laptop.
- When it was last seen. A date and time in UTC, updated roughly every five minutes while that browser is in use.
Only browsers seen since we started keeping this list appear, so a laptop you last opened months ago may not be there. Signing out the browser you're using isn't possible from this list; use Sign out at the top of Settings for that.
Sign out a browser you don't recognise
- Open Settings under your account and scroll to Recent browser sessions.
- Find the row that isn't yours and choose Sign out this browser.
- You'll see "The selected browser will be signed out on its next request." The row then shows Signed out instead of the button.
The other browser sees "This session was signed out. Sign in again to continue." the next time it opens a page. Your own browser stays signed in.
After signing out a stranger
Change your password straight away, in the Change password section just above. A new password signs out every browser in the list at once, and you get "Password changed. Previously tracked sessions have been signed out." as confirmation. If you sign in with Google, check the security settings of your Google account as well.
The shared-account box
Whenever you change your name, email or password, Settings asks you to tick "I understand this changes my shared SubLearn account too." Your sign-in is shared with SubLearn, so those details change there as well, while your learning plan and phrase collections stay specific to this website. This list only covers browsers seen on MicroEnglish; it doesn't show or sign out SubLearn sessions.
Write to us
If you see activity you didn't do, or a browser keeps reappearing after you sign it out, tell us from the contact page with "I can't sign in, or my account looks wrong" selected: Contact us about your account. A person looks at it within one working day.
