Your weekly report

Open Account, choose Practice, then Weekly report. The page, titled Your week in English, covers the seven days up to today: how many lessons you started and finished, how many days you practised, how many phrases you reviewed, and your average score with the previous seven days next to it for comparison. Tick one box in Settings and the same summary arrives by email once a week.

Read the numbers

In the order they appear:

• Lessons started: lessons where you checked an answer, asked for a hint or replayed a clip, each counted once.
• Lessons completed: lessons where you finished every clip, each counted once.
• Days with lesson attempts: days you started, finished or checked at least one clip.
• Phrases reviewed: cards you rated in the review queue.
• Synced offline samples: results from Offline practice that reached your account this week.
• Average completed score: the average of the final scores of the lessons you finished this week (finish one twice and both count), or No completed score yet if you haven't finished any.
• Previous seven days: the same average for the week before, so you can see the direction.

The averages use finished lessons only; a lesson you're halfway through doesn't pull the number down. See How scoring works for what the percentage measures.

Why two weeks don't compare exactly

The page says it in one line: Scores describe the exercises you completed; different weeks may contain different lessons. A week of long C1 passages and a week of short A2 lines will score differently even if your listening is the same. Use the comparison as a nudge, not a verdict, and look at Days with lesson attempts first; that's the number you control most directly.

Get the report by email

1. Open Account → Settings and find Practice plan and accent.
2. Tick Email me one learning report each week and choose Save changes.
3. Each week you'll get an email headed Your week in English with your lessons completed and practice days, plus an Open my weekly report button for the rest.

The email goes to the verified address on your account. Changed it recently? See Changing your email address.

Stop the emails

Either untick the same box in Settings and save, or choose Stop weekly learning emails at the bottom of any report email. Both work straight away, and the report page itself stays available.

Use it well

The Today's practice page shows three of these numbers all week, so you don't need to wait for the email. Pick one target, such as four practice days, and let the score follow. Reviews count too: a few cards a day in the review queue keep the phrases from good weeks alive in the quieter ones.

If the report shows a lesson count you don't recognise, or the email keeps arriving after you turned it off, tell us and we'll check your settings within one working day.
