What a lesson is, how scoring works, and how to make it fit your day.
- Your first lesson, step by step Listen, type what you hear, check, and read the script. Your first sentence takes a minute, a whole lesson about ten to fifteen, and you can start without an account.
- How scoring works Your score is the share of the script's words you typed correctly; hints don't change it, and revealing the transcript sets that clip to zero.
- Choosing an accent (British, American, Australian) Pick a voice on any lesson or set a default in Settings; lessons come with British, American and Australian recordings, and the picker only lists what a clip actually has.
- What "micro" means (and why lessons are short) Every lesson is one focused clip of a few seconds to a minute, so you can practise in the gaps of a real day and still improve.
- Using MicroEnglish on your phone It works in your phone's browser with no app to install; add it to your home screen and download the free listening samples for offline practice.
