What a lesson is, how scoring works, and how to make it fit your day.
- Your first lesson, step by step Start with a free sample without creating an account. Listen, type what you hear, check your answer, then compare it with the transcript at your own pace.
- How scoring works Your score is the share of the script's words you typed correctly; hints don't change it, and revealing the transcript sets that clip to zero.
- Choosing an accent (British, American, Australian) Choose from a lesson's available accents or set a default in Settings. Each clip shows which accent is playing.
- What "micro" means (and why lessons are short) Practice one short recording at a time: listen, write what you hear, then check the words you missed. Choose a daily plan that fits your schedule.
- Using MicroEnglish on your phone It works in your phone's browser with no app to install; add it to your home screen and download the free listening samples for offline practice.
