Quick answer
Meet your K-pop idol: what to say
If you only have a few seconds, say "I'm your biggest fan." Right after a show, "You were amazing" is warm and simple. "This is a dream come true" works when meeting them is a big wish you've had for a long time. After that, keep it short: say thank you, tell them what their music means to you, and ask before you take a photo.

Each line explained
-
I'm your biggest fan. Bold and excited
Use it when you meet the artist you love most. Biggest fan means you love them more than anyone, so keep the word order "I'm your," not "You're my," and save the line for an artist you really follow.
“I'm your biggest fan.”
-
You were amazing. Warm and simple
Say it right after someone performs, at the door or at a fan event after the show. Use "were" because the performance is over; if you haven't seen them perform, "I love your music" fits better.
“You were amazing.”
-
This is a dream come true. Emotional and dreamy
Use it when a big wish happens, like meeting an artist after years of waiting. It's an emotional line, so don't use it for small things, like getting a good seat on the bus.
“This is a dream come true.”
-
I can't believe I'm meeting you. Surprised and honest
Use it in the first few seconds, when you're still surprised that they're really in front of you. Say it once, then move on to a thank-you or a question so the conversation doesn't stop.
“I can't believe I'm meeting you.”
-
I've been a fan since your debut. Proud and friendly
Use it to show you've supported them for a long time. A debut is an artist's first official release or show, so only say it if it's true, because they may ask which song you heard first.
“I've been a fan since your debut.”
-
Your music helped me through a hard time. Sincere and personal
Use it when their songs really helped you during a difficult period of your life. Keep it to one or two sentences, because a short meeting isn't the place for the whole story.
“Your music helped me through a hard time.”
Common mistakes
-
Not quite
You're my biggest fan.Better I'm your biggest fan.
"I'm your biggest fan" means you admire them more than anyone. Swap the words and you tell the idol that they admire you most, which is the mix-up Hana makes in the Short.
-
Not quite
You was amazing.Better You were amazing.
"You" always takes "were" in the past tense, even when you talk to one person. Use the past tense here because the performance has just finished.
-
Not quite
This is a dream came true.Better This is a dream come true.
"A dream come true" is a fixed phrase, and "come" doesn't change. If you want a past-tense sentence, use a different pattern: "My dream came true."
