Possessive pronouns stand alone in place of an owned noun phrase to show belonging: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, and theirs. Reflexive pronouns end in -self or -selves and indicate that the subject of the clause is also the recipient of the action: myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, and themselves.
